Create a Strong Business-Building Chain

There are many mistakes that small e-business owners make. I would say that most non-SBIers fail simply because they don’t have the right process-and-tools to take them all the way.

They may think they do, but they’re usually just buying into a faulty model (a Get-Rich-Quick scam, the latest hot thing, whatever). Or they insist on making their lives 100 times harder than it needs to be by following all the gurus (each with different opinions), by keeping on top of things, by changing directions 100 times (as the gurus change), by spending money on more and more “must have” tools, etc.

These entrepreneurs fail for so many reasons. As a result, there’s no “biggest” reason to pinpoint. Except, of course, that they should have chosen SBI! to build their business. The sad part is that they usually don’t learn from their mistakes and they’ll either repeat the same ones or make new ones the next time around.

So what about SBIers? Are you immune to mistakes?…

You, too, can make mistakes at any step of the way. SBI! is not fool-proof and if you don’t succeed the first time out, that does not make you a fool. It’s important, however, to understand that your errors were not random…

It may be a fault in judgment after poor keyword research on your part.

Or… because you didn’t read Make Your Content PREsell!, you did not take the time to figure out your voice and Valuable Preselling Proposition and, subsequently, your content. The ultimate achievement is that folks “love” your site. But “like a lot” can be good enough to build a business (try for “love” though).

You can fail, too, because you didn’t build inbound links from a diversified collection of quality sources related to your niche (especially if you did not build a “love-level” site).

Yes, there are a lot of links in the business-building chain that you need to make strong and there’s no rigid step-by-step that guarantees success. But the proven process in the SBI! Action Guide, with all the steps laid out, the tools to do them and the constant updating, means that you really should succeed if you follow/do the Action Guide.

One final tip… don’t procrastinate or forget about building an inbound links program. It’s not the most fun part of the Content Traffic PREsell Monetize process, but it’s one more link in the chain.

Take-home lesson?

Your business-building chain is only as strong as the weakest link.

All the best,

I actually knew about SBI at least several years (if not more) before I started using it but for whatever reason just didn`t pay attention (mistake No. 1).
However, I think the most important thing to remember is that we are always going to make mistakes, but as long as we learn from them and continually try and improve, keeping a long term view in mind, our goals, plans or whatever will work out.
Of course that is the standard cliche but I don`t think anyone has proven it wrong so far.
Show me a man, woman or child who has succeeded by totally quitting.
