SBIers *STAR* In Success Books!


Congratulations to Jim Nelson of jugglenow.com.   He is one
of ten highly successful Netrepreneurs who are interviewed
in a new book, "Success Alert," by John Evans...

(Don't be put off by the copy on the site, which is a touch
hypey.  We know from experience that copy like this does
sell. The trick as you grow into a larger company is to keep
the Conversion Rate efficiency while "growing" your copy
somewhat more subdued.)

If you are looking for a little inspiration from those who
have "been there, done that, and won"... it's a good read.
And John Evans himself is an interesting story, a chap who
has put together quite a team and caused a stir online.

John's a relative newbie to Net marketing.  His e-book is
priced reasonably at $47.  And best of all, he really does
pull out some useful information, ideas, and approaches from
the folks he interviews.

Strikingly, Jim Nelson easily gets the most return for the
least amount of effort and expense.  When you look at it
from that larger perspective, the entire book is a wonderful
testimonial to the power and efficiency of SBI!

When I e-mailed Jim to congratulate him, he told me a really
surprising story...  Jim was ALSO interviewed for ANOTHER
prominent "secrets of success" product, but his story was
never published.  Jim explains...

Mr. X (his staff) did a very detailed
interview with me. And after talking in depth
about SBI, I got a polite letter saying
"Sorry, we made a mistake, we really don't
have room for you it seems." He gave me a
couple of their expensive programs (that I
don't use) as a "thank you for your time, but
we don't want to talk about SBI." (No, he
didn't actually say it in those words.)

Interestingly, we noticed that successalert.com is an SBI!
site. But John's not really using it in the way we intended.
So I'm going to have to chat with him about that one.  ;-)

Anyway, on with this strange, winding trail...

Jim's anecdote about Mr. X made me remember an e-mail that
we received from Phil Davies, who owns the SBI! site,
exercise-equipment-review.com.  Phil was interviewed in
2003 by the Mr. X staff.  His story WAS published in this
rather expensive "success secrets" product.  But Phil wrote
us with this staggering story...

this month.  I was asked a lot about what
software I use to promote my site and I think
they found it hard to believe that I only use
one product... namely SBI.  I mentioned SBI

Judd Burdon, who is in charge of answering questions from

to tell me about Jerome Freedman's Jewelry by Mala.   It
seems that Jerome has two sites...

It also turns out that Jerome was recently interviewed by
Mr. X's staff.  And guess what?

Yup, not a mention of the SBI! site by the newsletter that
supposedly gives (or sells) ALL the success secrets of the
successful.  Judd had already published a more informative
case study on Jerome. So let's give you the REAL secrets...

Now... understand that Mr. X's product costs approximately
$200 per year, and it's only "reason to be" is to sell the
success secrets of those who make it, big, online.

And yet... they hide the SBI! "secret" which is the biggest,

Bottom line...

It's nice to read about the success secrets of others. They
usually use a rather complicated collection of expensive
tools, are tech-savvy or  hire tech-savvy folks, and often
have special skills that the average business person can't
duplicate.  But John Evans DOES deliver the goods...

It's interesting to read 10 different stories and REALLY get
the information you're expecting to get.  Once you've read
10 good case histories/interviews like this, you really
don't need to read a whole bunch more.  You'll get some good
ideas, hopefully absorb and be inspired by that winning "can
do" attitude, and continue to move forward faster and faster
and FASTER with SBI!... inspired that you, too, can indeed
do it.  After all, you're starting with the biggest, most
important "secret" that any small business person could want.

With SBI!, you really CAN.  All you have to do is...

P.S. Are you wondering why Mr. X suppressed SBI!?  Well, he
wouldn't want to remove the mystery of what it REALLY takes

I am really excited about the future with SiteBuildIt!. The

Great story, and great site, Marc.  When folks help other
folks to succeed, the world is at its best.

Now, speaking of helping others, and success secrets, let's
take a deeper look at the SBI! Case Studies Site, which
features detailed stories told by successful SBIers, one in
every single category of small business.

One of these stories certainly applies to you, but today
that's not the point.  Just read their stories and look for
the common threads... enthusiasm, determination, optimism,
winning attitude (without "entitlement"). etc.

Over the years, we've seen hundreds of thousands of small
business people buy our books and Site Build It!, subscribe
to our zines, take our Masters Courses, etc.  That kind of
exposure to the complete range of the human condition led me
to wonder why some people succeed wonderfully, while others
seem to spin their wheels.
